More than half of my life, I have been a photographer. I owned and managed a full-time portrait studio that specialized in children and family portraits for 18 years. It's crazy (more so to me than anyone else) that I have photographed more than 12, 000 portrait sessions mostly with young children.
Each holiday season I would create a unique and memorable Santa experience for the children of my studio. I was well-known for my sets and backgrounds because we always built something new and unique each year. I developed a style that I would define as slightly traditional, rustic with a splash of elegance.
Over the years, even my regular Santa and Mrs Claus would look forward to what I created because when you walked into the camera room - you could feel in your heart and imagination the spirit of Christmas.
In 2012, I decided to close my full-time studio to become a freelance photographer. My priorities changed when my daughter was born and working 60-80 hours a week was not the life I had envisioned as a mother. In doing so, now I am able to travel and share my love of Christmas to you. I am looking forward to seeing and meeting you at the Santa Reunion in Tennessee!
